Working principle

Continuous laser cleaning is based on the laser-induced plasma stripping effect. A high-energy-density laser beam (≥10⁶W/cm²) is irradiated onto the surface of the contaminant layer. The contaminant instantly absorbs energy and heats up to the vaporization point. The plasma generated by vaporization explodes to form a shock wave, separating the contaminant from the substrate material. Meanwhile, due to the low matching degree between the laser wavelength and the metal substrate, the substrate material only heats up slightly, thus avoiding damage.
