Main components
Bed: Usually, a double rectangular guide rail structure is adopted. This type of guide rail has a large load-bearing capacity, good guiding accuracy, and has undergone quenching treatment, resulting in relatively high wear resistance.
Spindle box: It is used to install the spindle and provide the power for the rotation of the tool or workpiece. Its rotational speed can be adjusted according to the processing requirements.
Drill pipe box: It drives the drill pipe to rotate and realizes the feed motion, ensuring that the tool can accurately drill into the workpiece and perform deep hole processing.
Oil feeder: It injects high-pressure cooling oil into the drill bit, serving to cool, lubricate and remove chips, while also supporting and guiding the drill pipe.
Workpiece support: It is used to support the workpiece and ensure its stability during the processing. Different quantities and forms of workpiece supports can be selected according to the length and weight of the workpiece.
Cooling system: Composed of cooling pumps, oil tanks, filters, pipelines, etc., it provides sufficient pressure, flow rate and clean cutting fluid to meet the cooling and chip removal requirements of deep hole processing.
Feed system: Generally, a servo motor drives the ball screw to achieve the feed motion of the drill pipe box, and the feed speed can be adjusted steplessly.
