Equipment Introduction

Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator (referred to as PSA nitrogen generator) is a nitrogen generation equipment designed and manufactured based on pressure swing adsorption technology. It achieves nitrogen and oxygen separation through physical separation methods. Due to its advantages such as high efficiency and flexibility, it has become the mainstream nitrogen generation choice for small and medium-sized nitrogen users at present.

Working principle:

Raw material pretreatment: Firstly, air is used as the raw material. After being compressed by an air compressor, it passes through a purification system composed of a refrigerated dryer, multi-stage filters, etc., to remove moisture, oil and dust from the air, ensuring that the air entering the core separation unit is clean and avoiding contamination of the adsorbent, which may affect the separation effect.

Pressure swing adsorption separation: The core of the system consists of two parallel adsorption towers filled with carbon molecular sieves inside. Under pressurized conditions, carbon molecular sieves will adsorb a large amount of small-molecule impurities such as oxygen molecules, while nitrogen molecules are difficult to be adsorbed and will accumulate at the top of the tower to form high-purity nitrogen gas.

Alternating regeneration cycle: When the carbon molecular sieve in one adsorption tower reaches saturation in adsorbing oxygen, the system will automatically switch to another adsorption tower to continue adsorbing nitrogen. At the same time, the saturated adsorption tower regenerates the carbon molecular sieve by depressurizing and releasing the adsorbed oxygen and other impurities. The two towers alternately complete pressurized adsorption and vacuum regeneration to ensure continuous and stable nitrogen production.
